These empty nesters loved their property but not the house. We unpacked the paver driveway onto pallets to be reshaped and installed for their new home. Then we tore down the existing house to build them their dream home. They wanted their new home to have plenty of open space for entertaining, real wood accents and high end finishing. We designed the kitchen to be open to the back yard living area and pond, as well as the family room, dining room and games room without any walls obstructing the view. All three of these rooms had beautiful vaulted ceilings. We were able to hide the supports in the trusses, eliminating the need for walls or posts. From the mezzanine, one can overlook the entire back of the home. This home features mortise and tenon fir posts and beams, a custom fir stairway with a glass railing, and an advanced central system that controls the lights, media, alarm, gate and power blinds with the capability to add whatever else you can think of in the future.
